Are you struggling with advanced dental problems or failing teeth, but can’t stand the thought of countless dental visits to fix your issues? When you come to our San Antonio TX dental office, you can get reliable and beautiful teeth in one day!
If you haven’t been the dentist in awhile, you need to read this entire post. It will change the way you view and think about dentistry. You’ll be amazed at the new technologies and techniques, and hopefully, you’ll walk away with a new appreciation for dentistry and dental procedures.
Today I want to run through what goes into our same-day services whenever you need dental implants. Dental implants are the strongest tooth replacement option in dentistry and can be used to replace single missing teeth to stabilize dentures. We generally like to start our same-day treatments in the morning, so we have plenty of time to make sure your new smile is perfect! Here’s what you can expect.
First Step of Treatment — Consultation
The consultation is your time to discuss your problems and your smile goals. This is first is perhaps the most important step of the process.
At Advanced Dental Associates, we pride ourselves on our thorough exams and consultations. We are using digital technology to properly assess the smile, diagnose problems, and then plan out your treatment. But more importantly, we are focused on your smile goals, We’ll never be criticized about the state of your mouth or pushed into a treatment you don’t want.
The Day of Your Treatment
Whenever you come to our office, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff. We’ll make sure you’re comfortable and ready for your big day. Our first step will be to create impressions of the teeth. This will help us find the most optimal location for the implant!
Next, if you have remaining unhealthy teeth, we’ll safely remove those teeth and start preparing the mouth for your dental implants. We’ll then place the dental implants around the mouth — we’ll have already discussed the number of implants and preplanned the position of the implants. Once the implants have been placed, we’ll fit those implants with temporary teeth. Even though these teeth are temporary, you’ll be able to eat almost anything you want and smile with confidence.
After this visit, you’ll only need one follow up visit for your permanent teeth. We plan this visit a few weeks after the implant placement so we can check the status of the implant and or implants make sure the gums and bone tissue has healed properly.
